"That the choice fell on creating an organic and sustainable product came very naturally to us," say Martin Have and Maria Toystrup. They are the founders of the GOTS certified bag brand TINTOK and they value nature very much. They believe that we can all make an effort, big or small, to reduce our consumption and thereby ensure that our planet takes as little damage as possible. "Like so many others, we have speculated a lot about how we can reduce our climate footprint and how we can leave our planet cleaner than when we arrived. We have a great desire to let our products be part of a circular recycling system, where we recycle the cotton fibers or, for example, upcycle our bags". Therefore, the couple has several measures in the pipeline. Among other things, a collaboration with a fiber recycling system that the Danish-based company NewRetex is responsible for. In addition, the bags are also sold to creacafes around the country, where they are upcycled and given new life with, among other things, textile paint and beads. "It feels good to know that we are helping to make the world a cleaner place and that we are actually making an active effort," smiles Martin Have.
